Unlike the other options in this dialog, wildcards are not permitted (because it would hardly be useful in this context and because of confusion with the "own code" asterisk). There is an additional option in the Alert on.Match dialog to generate an alert on a specified share code. ![]() Only if the symbol was otherwise going to be the default Mode-S yellow, will the user-defined colour for that altitude band be used instead. Thus ACARS plots will still be red, HFDL plots will still be magenta, plots that are timing out will still be orange. Note that the user-defined colour is over-ridden by any source-specific symbols colours. In, if you click on one of the FL altitude band buttons, you can now choose a symbol colour as well as the range of altitudes. You can now customise aircraft symbol colours plotted on the chart according to altitude. If you have a version-specific firewall (eg Zone Alarm), you may have to reassure it that the new version is permitted to access the Internet. You can install the new version over the old one but you must close/exit the old PlanePlotter before installing the new one. You may need to exercise your browser Refresh function to force it to show you the new version. ![]() If you don't like this version, you have no cause for complaint, simply go back to the version that you did like.
